:THE RETRO SONIC CLUB:

Hello and welcome to the Retro Sonic Club! This is a club for those Sonic fans who love the classic, pre-Sonic Adventure Sonic. This club covers the classic games, cartoons and comics. If you're a fan of any one of these areas of pre-SA Sonic, this is the club for you! When the members start joining, I will arrange competitions for the members to participate in, and any artwork submitted by the members will be put into the Gallery here for all you retro fans to enjoy ^_^

This is NOT an anti-Sonic Adventure club, just a celebration of the classic Sonic that we grew up with!

Well, after a stupid amount of inactivity, I can confirm that this club is up and running again as of today. Please bear with me as I work through all the requests to join, art submissions etc.

But, it's business as usual now so if you want to join or submit anything, go ahead

::How to Join::
If you want to join this club, then please send a Note to ~Retro-Sonic-Club or ~JenHedgehog. Both accounts will be, 99% of the time, checked daily; so whichever account you choose to Note doesn’t matter. Please DO NOT post a comment on the main page asking to join, as I can’t guarantee I’ll see them all. Once I have received your Note, you will be added to the Members List, which will be shown at the bottom of each Journal entry. Once you have received a Note from me confirming you are now a club member, please add a link (:devRetro-Sonic-Club : without spaces) or the club icon (:iconRetro-Sonic-Club : without spaces) to your signature and/or Journal.

::Submitting your Art::
If you want your art to appear in the Gallery here, please Note me at ~Retro-Sonic-Club or ~JenHedgehog; again, I can’t guarantee I’ll see all comments on the main page so please make sure to Note me instead! Once I receive your note with a link to the art you want to submit, I will submit the art to the Gallery here, giving you FULL credit for your work and providing a link to your page for others to see.

::Club Rules::
- The art you submit MUST be, in some way, related to the pre-SA Sonic games, comics or cartoons.
- NO mature content in your submissions please, I want to keep this club appropriate for all ages
- All submissions made for the gallery MUST be your own work, I'm sorry but I cannot and will not accept anything featuring official Sonic artwork. You could get yourself as well as me and the club banned if I were to upload it to our gallery, as dA are very strict about it. Things I will NOT accept in Deviations includes, but is not limited to: official logos, official character art, sprites (edited or not), backgrounds/screenshots taken from games.
- Once you have received a Note from me confirming you are a club member, please add a link (:dev Retro-Sonic-Club : without spaces) or the club icon (:icon Retro-Sonic-Club: without spaces) to your signature and/or Journal. That way, we can get more members and the club will be more fun, as more art will be submitted and competitions can take place
- Flaming of any other Deviants, or bashing of anything else (Sonic or otherwise) will NOT be tolerated!
- In accordance with the above rule, we won't affliliate with any "anti"/"hate" clubs of any sort - that's the only rule as far as affiliations are concerned though ^_-
